A Word from Pastor Jay Keele On behalf of the congregation of First Baptist Church of Flora, I would like to invite you to attend our worship services. I feel that you will find that we are people who are friendly and love the Lord. At First Baptist we are not perfect, just forgiven. We would love for you to feel the joy of the saving grace of Jesus Christ as we do. The purpose of this church is to advance the Kingdom of Jesus Christ through the public worship of God, the preaching of the Gospel, consistent Christian living by its members, personal evangelism, personal stewardship, missionary endeavor, Christian education and community service. We receive the Holy Bible as an all-sufficient basis for our doctrine and practice. We affirm our belief and trust in, and our adherence to the principles of Christian doctrine and conduct as commonly held by Baptist, and as set forth in the church Covenant, with each member free under the leadership of the Holy Spirit to interpret its meaning and intent. Our Sunday morning worship is at 9:30 with Sunday school at 10:45.
